Wattage x Quantity x Hours/Day x 30 days / 1000 gives each appliance's monthly energy consumption in kilowatt-hours.
TNB charges progressively: lower rates for the first 200 kWh, increasing as usage rises. Higher tiers cost significantly more per kWh.
A 6% service tax is applied to the total electricity charge. The minimum monthly charge is RM 7.20 before tax.
Use energy-efficient appliances, set AC to 24-25 degrees Celsius, and switch off devices when not in use to reduce your bill.
